Weighing Equipment Manufacturers Association is a not-for-profit Company registered under section 8 of the Companies Act 2013, vide corporate identification number U74999HR2017NPL070073. WEMA is a conglomerate of pioneer and leading manufacturers of Weighing equipment in India, with a global standing. WEMA represents collective voice and encourages feedback from various Regional Associations and Industries for the larger good of consumers, trade and fraternity.

Objectives

  • Explore opportunities to increase the market size and geographical reach of Weighing manufacturing Industry.
  • Work with the Government for ease of doing business by identification and mitigation of pain points.
  • Work on Skill development programmes for catering to needs of weighing Industry and enhance availability & employability of Skilled man power in India.
  • Provide inputs to Central/State Govts. while framing policies pertaining to Weighing Industry for upgrading Weighing technology at par with Global Standards.
  • Improve Weighing manufacturing technology to enhance the quality of Weighing machines and standards of accurate metrology in India.
